Reflective Consultation
Being a therapist means holding space for everyone else’s stories, struggles, and healing. But where do you go with the weight of it all? Reflective consultation gives you a place to slow down, notice what’s coming up for you in the work, and explore how your own experiences, values, and identity shape the way you show up with clients. It's also space where we can slow down when dynamics are complicated and see the inner world of the baby and the parents as we find the next step forward.
Reflective consultation isn’t supervision or case consultation. It’s about you as a person and a professional. Together, we look at what gets stirred up in the room, the patterns you notice, and the spots where you might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or even energized. It’s a chance to reflect openly without judgment, so you can deepen your awareness, keep your footing, and do this work in a way that feels sustainable.

Reflective Consultation for Reflective Supervisors:
One of the hardest (and most rewarding) roles I've ever held is providing reflective consultation for other clinicians. It's a complex skill that is built through a blend of application of theory and through practice. It is a time in your professional career where you will want and need support more than you ever have in the past. If you are providing reflective consultation for others, I would love to support you by providing a space where you can reflect on your skills and dilemmas as a reflective supervisor.
I am Endorsed as an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Mentor - Clinical. If you are working toward Endorsement, our time together can also count toward your requirements. Please be sure to share with me that you are pursuing Endorsement so that I can support you in meeting requirements in our time together.
